This article only discusses what the tenants need to know where there is some change to the landlord's name or address.
Landlords must provide a name and address for notices per Sections 47 & 48 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. Our guide clearly explains the requirements and how to avoid potential penalties.
A failure to provide an address results in any rent or service charge; otherwise, due from the tenant to the landlord shall be treated for all purposes as not being due from the tenant to the landlord at any time before the landlord does comply.
