Generic Refrigerator Safety Instructions (No Freezer)

For an electrical appliance to be ‘supplied safe’, the manufacturer operating instructions should be supplied [Oxford trading standards office v Lyttons Property Services 1998 unreported]. 

All attempts should be made to locate the appropriate instructions, and we would suggest trying Manuals online first. 

If you are unable to locate a manual as a last resort, this document is a generic set of safety instructions suitable for a refrigerator only. 

This is not suitable for a fridge/freezer combo or fridge with a small freezer compartment.
