Can Tenants Change Rent Payment Dates?
Hi, Following the ruling regarding the rent increase date (Mooney v Whiteland), Does the same ruling apply when a tenant wants to move their rent payment date to coincide with their payday?
For example, Tenant A moves in on the 20th of the month and wants to move their rent date to the 28th. They pay an extra eight days to cover that period, but the tenancy stays the same. In the past, we would still follow the date on the tenancy agreement.
