Chasing a Guarantor After Deposit Claim for Repairs
A tenant broke the top of the cistern. She has left the property and asked for the replacement to be taken from the deposit via the DPS. I emailed her the amount for this, replacement and labour. When she went to the DPS, she declined the amount due, stating the labour was too high.
I will now have to claim the deposit from the DPS. Can I also pursue the guarantor for payment?
