Property Redress Scheme Discount For Guild Members
All lettings and managing agents must be a member of a redress scheme.
A “redress scheme” is defined as –
… a scheme which provides for complaints against members of the scheme to be investigated and determined by an independent person.
Either tenants or landlord clients can complain about an agent to a redress scheme – usually after following the agent's complaints procedure.
Subscribers to the Guild of Residential Landlords are entitled to a 10% discount on the Property Redress Scheme.
The Property Redress Scheme is a new, straightforward, easy-to-use consumer redress (ombudsman) scheme for Property Agents and Professionals.
The primary purposes of the Property Redress Scheme are to allow Agents to comply with their legal requirement to be a member of a government-authorised consumer redress scheme and to settle or resolve consumer complaints against our Members.
The scheme's costs (which are reasonable even before the discount in our view) are available on their website here.
The code can be found on our discount code page for subscribers.
The code is entered at the checkout of the Property Redress Scheme when you join them.
Subscribers get full access to exclusive content, including forms, articles and discounts, plus our time saving Tenancy Builder tool.
