How to Delete or Archive a Tenancy Agreement

Archive a Tenancy

Digital signing must not be in progress to archive or delete a tenancy agreement. Locate the record in the tenancies list to check the digital signing status and select Digital Signing Events from the actions button. If any party is pending, click the Cancel button to stop the digital signing. Alternatively, click the silent cancel button to stop the digital signing without notifying the parties.

As long as digital signing is not in progress, you can archive a tenancy agreement by ticking the box next to the tenancy and clicking the “move to archive” button at the bottom of the tenancy list. You can also select multiple entries.

To view archived agreements, click on the toggle in the top left corner of the tenancies list, which will switch between archived agreements and your main tenancies list.

When viewing the archive list, clicking the actions button allows you to move to unarchive, which will restore the tenancy agreement to your main tenancies list.

Delete an agreement

To delete a tenancy agreement, move it to the archive as detailed above.

View the archive list by clicking the toggle in the top left corner. Then, use the tick box next to each tenancy you want to delete and click the "permanently delete" button.

Please note that deleting this way is permanent and cannot be restored.
