Edit an Agreement

Digital signing has not been started yet

Where the tenancy has not been sent for digital signing yet, click "edit" from the actions button next to the agreement you want to edit in the tenancies list and go through each page and make any changes you wish to make. 

After making your changes, select "**save and build**" to create a new agreement (with the edited changes) and overwrite the last one built, which can then be downloaded after it's been made.

You can make as many edits as you need and return to the revision as many times as you like.

I have started digital signing and need to edit the agreement

If digital signing has been started and you noticed a mistake, or you need to edit the agreement, please follow these steps:

  1. You'll need to cancel the agreement from the digital signing. Do this by going to the digital signing events page (from the actions button in the tenancies list) and clicking the cancel button at the top right-hand side.
  2. Go back to the tenancies list by clicking on the sidebar.
  3. From the actions button, select "duplicate" to make a copy of the agreement. A new one will appear at the top of the tenancies list.
  4. For the new copy just created, go to "edit" from the actions button and make the changes needed. Ensure to click "save and build" at the end to overwrite with a new PDF.
  5. After downloading and checking, the contract looks okay; you can now submit it for digital signing as you did previously (select digital signing from the actions button).
