Generate Inventory Comparison Reports with AI
Inventory Compare helps generate an inventory comparison using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
To generate an inventory comparison report, please follow these steps:
- Navigate to Tenancy Builder
- Click on Inventory AI -> Inventory Compare in the sidebar
- Click Add on the right
- Enter a description (e.g. Mr and Mrs Johnson, Flat 3, Any Street)
- Upload a PDF check-in report using the left-hand side file upload (maybe the first file upload if using mobile)
- Upload a PDF check-out report using the right-hand side file upload (maybe the second upload if using mobile)
- Click compare.
Generating an inventory comparison report consumes 250 credits.
After the reports have been analysed, a preview of the report will be displayed.
To download the inventory comparison report, use the actions button to the left of the record and click on the preferred format—Markdown (.md), PDF, or Word.
You may edit the report as necessary, which can be used as supporting evidence for a deposit dispute or court proceedings (although you must check and edit the report for accuracy).
A limitation we noticed during testing is finding missing items if the item is not present in the check-out report. It works better if the item is mentioned and then something like "not present" or "missing" is entered in the description.
The AI inventory comparison tool has been designed to use inventories created using our inventory generator. However, it should work with other inventories as long as the check-in and check-out are similar in layout and format.
The analysis uses the latest AI model. AI can make mistakes, so always check important information.
